Scuba Diving on the Costa del Sol — PADI Dive Centre

5.0 · 252 five-star reviews · PADI 5-Star Center

Looking for scuba diving on the Costa del Sol? ScubaCourse Spain is a mobile PADI dive centre operating right along the western Costa del Sol — from Marbella and Estepona down to Casares, Manilva, Sotogrande and the Bay of Gibraltar. We bring the dive centre to you, meeting at carefully chosen sites for beginners, families and certified divers alike. Instead of a fixed shop, we pick the best dive site each day based on the weather, the sea and your experience. It makes diving the Costa del Sol more flexible, more personal, and easy to fit around your holiday.

Why dive here

The western Costa del Sol offers some of the most accessible and varied diving in southern Spain. Calm, sheltered bays make it ideal for first-timers, while rocky reefs, a 300-year-old wreck, and the nutrient-rich waters near the Strait of Gibraltar reward experienced divers. Visibility regularly reaches 15–20 metres in season, and the water stays comfortable from late spring through autumn. Because we operate as a mobile dive school, we cover the whole coast — Marbella, San Pedro, Estepona, Casares, Manilva, Sotogrande and San Roque — and choose the site that suits the conditions and your level on the day. Free hotel pickup is available across our core area, so you can dive without the hassle of logistics. Whether you want to try scuba for the first time, complete a PADI course, or join guided dives in small groups, the Costa del Sol is a superb base. Run by Ludo and Susanne, ScubaCourse Spain pairs local knowledge with a relaxed, family-friendly approach and 252 five-star reviews.

Marine life you'll meet

The Mediterranean along the Costa del Sol teems with octopus, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, sea bream, wrasse, moray eels and the occasional eagle ray. Reefs, sandy bottoms and wrecks each attract their own residents, and visibility often exceeds 15 metres in the diving season.
